Entering your Mom Era is the most beautiful thing and looking good and put together most of the time is definitely not on the agenda anymore.
Still, looking good and feeling good often go hand in hand. We gathered a few ideas on how to get your Mom Glow-Up without breaking the bank or having to take time off.
- Drink plenty of water. Sounds so simple, yet it is a vital step which is often forgotten during a busy day. Drinking enough water has countless benefits, like the prevention of constipation and revitalization of the cells-which gives a natural glow.
- Optimise your skincare. It doesn’t take a 10 step skin care to have clear and healthy skin. Find 3-4 products that work best for your skin and stick to them. Essentials should be: under eye cooling creme, spf 50 sunscreen every day. Vitamin c serum and a nurturing eye cream.
- Try to get a workout in while taking care of your child. Sometimes your day might seem endless and you run out of ideas on how to entertain your little one. Go on YouTube and do a quick 10 min workout at home! Whatever you feel like doing. You‘d be surprised how entertaining this is for your child. Maybe they will even join in! Either way, you will feel energized and great afterwards.
- Prioritize sleep. This is a tough one- we know. When the baby naps, there are things to do and when it is finally asleep for the night you can’t wait for your "me time." The outcome: There is always too little sleep for you. Gentle advice: try to at least prioritize your sleep 3 times a week- you will love the feeling of having had enough sleep again.
- Be gentle to yourself! Snapping back after giving birth is not the norm and you should definitely not stress yourself. For your child you are and will always be the most beautiful person on the planet. You created life and you are a goddess. Don’t compare yourself to others. Remember: you entered your mom era and there is no better glow up than that in itself!
